Artichoke Cottage is a peaceful little house on the edge of the traditional Greek village of Glossa on Skopelos Island with great views and a useful garden. The cottage is perfectly habitable all year round, but some small improvements would increase comfort levels.

The Cottage has wonderful views across the Aegean sea to Evia, Skiathos and the small islands. Looking to the right is has a great view of the village with its jumble of traditional houses, old and new. Outside is a large, clean concrete terrace which is partly covered to give a choice of soaking up the sunshine or sitting in the shade. There is a well equipped kitchen inside, a large double bedroom and a sitting room with a wood-burning stove. The bathroom, with WC and shower, is reached from the terrace as is a large storage room which could easily incorporated into the main house. The cottage is approx 42 m² sitting on a property of 350 m²

You can drive to within about 30 metres of the cottage with free parking nearby. All the shops, tavernas, bus and taxi stations are all within a ten minute walk from the cottage. Loutraki – with the nearest beach and harbour – is about a 15 minute walk downhill. All the white goods and furniture are included – in fact almost everything apart from close personal possessions. Mains electricity and water are connected and the cottage has its own closed sewage system.
